When 94 Charles was open for show-home tours in the 1860s, Beacon Hill was the residence of many great writers, philosophers, and artists. They walked this street, and some probably toured this model-home, so we named the rooms for our famous by-gone neighbors.

Every room has been decorated with a distinct personality that reflects its namesake, yet each room also includes many standard features:

• Deluxe Private Bathroom with Air-Jet Whirlpool Tub, and
   5-piece Frette Linen Set

• The Original 1860 Marble Fireplace in working condition    and provided with complementary fire logs.

• Elegant European Antique Armoires, Lamps, and Chairs

• Turkish Carpets, a Chenille Throw, and other luxurious    Textiles.

• Two Phone Lines, Voice Mail and DSL Internet Access

• Cable TV with VCR and a 27" Sony TV

• BOSE Clock Radio CD player

• In-room temperature control

With rooms priced between $225 and $425 (depending on season and day of the week), the Charles Street Inn is an excellent lodging value.
