The Charles Street Inn is furnished with elegant Second Empire/Victorian antiques reminiscent of styles in the 1860s when 94 Charles Street was open for tours - tasteful, unique, and beautiful.

  • Each guest room at the Charles Street Inn is dedicated to a Bostonian who lived in the Beacon Hill area over a century  ago, and decorated thematically
  • Fine fabrics adorn sofas and chairs, windows, bed curtains  and blanket covers. Turkish rugs and chenille throws are  joined by Frette linens in each room
  • Grand armoires, bureaus, mantle clocks, carved chairs,  period chandeliers and sculptured desk lamps complement  room decor
  • Related etchings, lithographs, and original oil paintings  complete the ensemble
High Speed DSL lineantique and modern lighting in Boston's Beacon Hill Guesthouse and Inn

In 1860, the house at 94 Charles Street was also a model of modern technology, featuring central heating and running water. The Charles Street Inn has embraced this spirit of technical innovation with:

  • Large Air-jet Whirlpool Thermo Spa Tubs and Sub-Zero    Refrigerator Freezers
  • Two direct-dial Phones with Voice Mail and DSL Internet    Access
  • An Elevator, Dimmer Controls on most light switches, and    In-room Temperature Controls
  • BOSE CD/stereo, VCR, Cable TV, and 27" color Sony TV    (hidden inside an armoire)

The whole is completed by fine amenities from Crabtree & Evelyn, Torrefazione coffee, Nantucket Nectars, etc. in your room, and with Ferrero Rocher chocolates to meet you in the lobby.
